What is a student led conference and why is it important to attend?
Student-led conferences are a little different from the traditional parent-teacher meeting. During these conferences, students take the lead. They share work they are proud of, talk about what they have been learning in class, and reflect on how they are growing as learners.
When students have the chance to explain their learning to their families, it helps build confidence and a stronger sense of ownership. It also gives families a chance to hear directly from their child about what they are working on at school and what they are proud of. These conferences are meant to be a celebration of learning and growth.
Please note: There will be up to 4 families booking the same time slot. If you need time with the teacher, please book a separate phone call or appointment.
